My first augmented Cygnus soul is sold for 8b after putting on Auction house for a few weeks. What I see is that Auction house has a slower sale pace than remote shop in FM.
Is Auction house still useful?Yes, still useful but from my observation.... it is hard to sell items, the as maplers can now search for the cheapest item in Auction house. For example, if you looked through the list of purple cubes and you see the cheapest price for purple cube is 160m.
Obviously that 160m purple cube will get sold. The rest of the cubes won't get sold easily. Hence, with the Auction house, people will just buy the cheapest out of all!
Because it is like eBay or Amazon, you can search and find the cheapest one and buy it. People always buy the cheapest one. It is slightly different from the real world, because in the real world if you look for the cheapest one, you will likely get scammed or get low quality work.
But, for the FM remote shop, I find it is different case, as maplers are LAZY to walk the whole FM. Once they saw the item, they just buy the item although it is more expensive (or not the cheapest in the whole FM).
Hence, this is my conclusion, if you want to sell your items in Auction house...
1. Do a search on your item, see what is the cheapest price.
2. Set a slightly lower price than the cheapest one.
3. Wait, you should see your item sell out quickly.
But if you got a lot of items and you want to sell at average price, just go and open a shop at FM. I tried, it is more effective. Hope this tip is useful for your future sales in MapleSEA game!
