Pretty upset, I have been mapling since 2005. In 2005, everything is ok, there is not so much of emphasis for money. Everything (all equips or weapons, scrolls) you hunt in game and then make your equips or weapons. These are the fun of the game I missed out. I remember hunting for evil wings for my mage for 1 month and finally it dropped out. I felt a sense of satisfaction.
There is little emphasize on money on the inception era, I understand there is a gachapon machine there to obtain brown work gloves, pink cape, white scrolls. These are needed as they need to make money to sustain the game.
However, as the years goes by, they designed the bosses that a normal F2P / average funded character is unable to kill those bosses. I mean the hard bosses (hard will, hard lucid). You even need BoD (Breath of divinity ring) so that your character won't die easily. BoD clean already cost $3.5k now.
I have friends who can solo hard will / lucid, they are able to make $800-$1000+ per week just by down-ing both the boss as they dropped ACS weapon / armor which fetch $150-$400 per item.
Imagine down-ing boss with your virtual character can buy you a motherboard or a playstation 4 without spending a dime. It's very real. I seen it.
Now, in the black mage era, they designed EVERYTHING to grab your money or no game for you. Black mage, hard will, hard lucid all these need to fund like crazy 30k SGD is almost a car without coe in Singapore.
How many players fund till that ? Till now, I see there is less than 20 players? Some of them in Youtube. You can search 60m-70m maplesea.

End of the day, equips and weapons go obsolete. Even my fafnir weapons / armors which were previously so godly become so common and useless.
ACS weapon and armors are the next items they planning to make it worthless. Prepare for the next ACS wave (they will put all the ACS weapon / armors) in the Gachapon machine.
I have seen it all how Asiasoft milk out all our money. For a certain period of time, your items will be so godly that everyone envied. Then after a year or so, they will put all in the Gachapon machine or they will put in as a free item just like the recent event. Where they put 15* acs weapon in a event.
When there is these kind of event. You KNOW that you need to sell out your ACS armors / weapons quickly as it will drop like crazy soon. They will start to put all those ACS armors / weapons in gachapon machine. But, surprisingly they won't put those acs armors or weapons to normal monsters drop as they want to milk us as much as possible.
After milking ACS weapon / armors, they will probably think of the next weapon / armors (maybe level 250 weapon or armors). Then you need to fund again. Smart idea.
It is a never ending funding and funding and milking your money game.
