I remembered last time, there was this CS item that allows you to add a slot and get a level 50 character.Fast forward to today, the current state of MapleSEA is simply: If you have $$$, anything is possible. You can buy powerful equipments, you can also get people to "power level" your characters (though it is highly likely to be illegal).The current level cap is 250, and we all know the atrocious amount of EXP is needed to get from 200-250. Previously, it has been "proven" that it is possible to get to level 200 within 2 days ![(puke)]()
. Of course, this is not the main focus of this discussion.Simply, to level in Maple, one needs to repeatedly do the same quests over and over again. If you are willing to spend $$, there are 2X coupons, Maple High School and etc, which will significantly increase the rate of leveling. In a nutshell, the fastest way to level in this game is to spend $$.A potential source of revenue for Asiasoft could be to directly sell characters at a certain level at a certain price which will commensurate with the effort and spending required. Now, we understand that this would kill off the true meaning of the game, however, the reality of this game is not far from this state. ![(puke)]()

Well, there is a rumor that is going around recently, that items may be lost when going into Czak. So do you all think it is real or fake ? Does anyone knows anyone else lose any item ? A little about myself and my mechanic: JunXMech ![:lol:]()
I was one of the old players, starting at around 2007 with spearman, hermit, quit for around 3 years before returning during the "Big Bang" Patch, where the Resistance classes was being rolled out. I played Wild hunter, but grew tire of its playstyle, large hitbox and frailness. And I started playing Mechanic on the 1st day it was release, which was 1 month after wild hunter was released. It was something fresh, with 100% stance and a rush-mob skill right from lv10, it was an awesome feel. But it was being bandwagon badly, every where you go, there were mechanics spamming drill rush and hammer and no cool down rock n shock. I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay, which was why I remain loyal to my mechanic when more than half the mechanic got wiped out after the chaos patch's nerf for mechanic. Throughout the patches, from leveling by hunting at werewolf, papu/zak, to Lion Heart Castle PT System, to Stronghold PT System, to current PQ system, I grew to be greatly attached to my mechanic, with its gameplay and uniqueness.
And my mech turned out to be my very first Lv200 Character in Maplestory ![:)]()
On 11th of May 2012, few days before legend patch.
But of course, Lv200 isn't the only goal out there in maplestory, I will touch on that later.

The "Trick" to choosing a Class in Maplestory ![:py03:]()
Basically, when choosing a class, NOBODY, I repeat, NOBODY can tell you which class to play.
You create a thread, list your criteria, Even if a class fits all your criteria, it doesnt mean that that is the class for you, as gameplay simply can't be describe in words at times, and differ from player to player depending on playstyle and skills and funding.
And let me repeat a very important point.
There is no such thing is a weak class, just different classes for different purpose.
And remember, Nexon(developer of Maplestory) tactic is to revamp classes on a regular basis. Meaning no matter how strong or how weak a character is, it will not be the same story after a revamp.
So, Always, ALWAYS, choose a class that you LIKE, because the gameplay doesn't change even after a revamp, understand ?
Because how strong it is, will always be relative to other classes.
And another point about maplestory is that, funding is actually the most important factor in determining whether your character will be strong or weak.
Funding can be from different source, either from trading in game, or MTS, or from your own wallet.
And of course, how you fund your character is another story.

Recently, I collected and bought alot of Maple Coins, and exchange for Chaos Scrolls. I also found alot of Amazing Chaos Scroll and normal Chaos scroll from MesoRanger event.
But, I dare say that 7-8/10 are failure, I also looking through forum and found out other people also whining about it. Do you think it is purposely or bug?
IMO, I think it is purposely from A$ia'$oft-balls, they purposely lower the rate trying to trick people with original % written on the description. So player would get buy those Pam Songs.
I think the next cash shop update or after MesoRanger ends, would be the return of Pam Song...
So, what do you think?

Just discovered a way to get out of being trade-blocked in the Free Market:1)DO NOT USE ALT-F4 TO EXIT MAPLE2)Right click on any nearby player with monster farm3)Go to the person's monster farm4)Return to your own farm and exit monster life.5)Things should return to normal.I got trade blocked for the 2nd time and by a stroke of luck managed to get rid of that annoying bug.
