Have any1 noticed the buff skill for bishop, hs and adv bless is longer than 180 sec? During pre red training, i will need to rebuff the whole thing include hs and adv bless, but now when my main run out of buffs, hs and adv is still there like for 60 sec more. So do u think buff mastery changed to include party member as well? and what about the buff duration from inner ability? share your experience here pls..

(NOTE: i made this sound not less like a question, so don say i post on wrong thread pls..)

Adventurers - How to effectively utilize your chars

$
0
0
So, how many of you know your own adventurer character or others? How to boost your advantages/party in-game?

I start off with mine:

Night Lord - Use Posted Image Frailty Curse more often when bossing, you are given "slow" skill of the mages to affect bosses (add-on: description says it reduces monster def and gives more damage on bosses but I don't really see it). Remember to use Posted Image showdown challenge for increased exp and drops. Note it's half effect on bosses.

Shadower - Please use Posted Image more often. It gives you great benefit (hint: attack). Great for zakum, 3 bodies hence 3 potions. Needless to say, happy using Posted Image mesos explosion for the fun now.

Bishop - Party up with a few closely leveled Bishops for a cool bonus exp from blessing ensemble Posted Image. Yes fellow bishops, gather yourselves for more experience but other jobs might benefit more from your skill (more damage). Please dispel Posted Image more party members for reduced cooltime of divine protection Posted Image (read: your own benefit by once-used status defense - you save more people in the long run).

Other jobs: to be posted by other posters, I don't really know other adventurer's specialty in detail. Roughly & generally,
*Paladins can revive you in battle, so Bishop in party can be "saved" by Paladin if they die~
*Crossbow masters now must be "close" distanced with mob to have higher damage~

Maple Food For Thought #1: Future Victoria Island?

$

What is Maple Food For Thought (FFT)?
Spoiler
Maple Food For Thought (FFT) is a weekly discussion in the GD section that will prompt critical (or not) and creative thinking from players who wish to join in the discussion. The topic of every week will touch on the various aspects of the game we love and play all the time, including topics more pertaining to the in-game features, and topics more relevant to us the players. This discussion is aimed at giving participants and players a food for thought about the features they may have encountered during mapling but never thought through in detail, and everyone is welcomed to participate in the discussion.

TS's disclaimer: I understand that there may not be enough topics to discuss about MapleStory and topics may suck more and more over time, but I shall try my best to provide an open space for discussion. Also, as this is just the debut of Maple FFT, I wanna see how the response is before deciding whether to continue with the second instalment. As such I shall start off with a simpler topic before touching on possibly more serious issues in the future.

Today's topic:

A possibility for a complete Future Victoria Island?

As we all know, the future world, available to only high-levelled characters, currently consists of Dark Ereve, Henesys Ruins and Twilight Perion, of which the latter appeared much later after the former two. Currently, there is also in place a future New Leaf City (which hasn't been introduced yet to MapleSEA) which may suggest an emergence of a complete future world. If Nexon does decide to develop the future world, we may see a complete future version of Victoria Island. And we all know how the future world ended up.

Questions to ponder:
1) Is there a possibility for a future Victoria Island?
2) How do you think the other towns (Lith Harbour, Kerning City, Ellinia, Nautilus, Sleepywood, Florina Beach) will be named?
3) What monsters do you think will remain and be mutated in the future?
4) Do you think more bosses (normal or expedition) should be added in to these towns? State what boss(es) do you think will appear.
5*) How do you think the storyline will further develop to fit the emergence of future Victoria Island?
6*) How will thematic dungeon quest series previously done on Victoria Island (eg Mushroom Kingdom, Kerning Square etc.) be modified to fit the future world?

10% and 90% Scroll Secrets!

$

When using a 10% scroll can fail like 13time straight, but when using a 90% scroll Out of 10 can fail 3 Scroll. /rawr The Chance Of failing seem higher both at 10%. What do your think?

If you duno what i mean, Like 90% scroll have a 10% Chance of failing, and 10% scroll have 10% chance of passing. The 10% Chance of failing is not the same % as 10% chance of passing, Cos 90%(10% failing) scroll can fail 3 out of 10 and 10% scroll can fail up to 13 times in a row.

Sorry for the bad English very hard to explain ~
