With the MMB now price at ...... 1 million? (Thx to the evans) Even if this cash items is sold at 10 cash (yup, I am talking about 0.01k acash), no sane ppl is going to buy it.

Given asiasoft tends to overestimate the value of their cash shop items (points to whatever weird miracle cubes there is), this will cost at least hundreds or even a few k.

There goes 1 opportunity to earn acash from players. More opportunities will be lost in the future if the hacker issue is not resolved.

MAJOR PROBLEMS

everything written below may or may not have any relation to the subjects mentioned above.
While our developers said, "the players are very efficient".
On the other hand, the players are saying the developers are very inefficient.

The efficiency of the players are recognize by the developers but the developer's efficiency is totally not up to standard to match with the player's efficiency. As such players are not happy with developers, not that we players like to complain but this is 100% truth, WE ARE NOT HAPPY. Not saying that you should ban all the hackers, release 2 major content into 1 and rush the work and make a lot problem rises, forgot about events, updating and sync some of the non-KMS with the new updates. All we want is not those I mentioned, but the efficiency to come up with proper solution that actually works and not cause the players to become more unhappy like going through useless security measures that doesn't work on the problem at all.

"Anything that don't work REMOVE!" just like our monster carnival, the image captcha and fame requirement thing is definitely not working so you should just remove it and stop making a hazard for the players.

While i mentioned that we are not complaining that this game should be hacker-free but we expect that hackers don't just run around everywhere in the public and hack publicly for everyone to see. That is already an indirect advertising of how bad MapleSEA is handling the hackers that they let them run loose everywhere in the public. And due to the inefficient handling of hackers, everyone are being affected by this even the botters themselves. Why hackers too? Due to the nature of MapleSEA inefficient handling, botters community keep growing, and through words of mouth that they hardly get banned more people join the botting community and the community continuing growing that there are so many meso sellers out there snatching their rice bowl and at the same time more players joining the botting community would means lesser players that will buy meso from them. And I know most players-turned-botters would eventually quit after they got so bored of earning cash from selling meso, also its hard for them to compete with the BIG sellers ones out there and getting no incentive to continue playing the game.

But why player base getting lesser botters aren't out of business? I have a theory about it.
Due to the nature of MapleSEA's efficient handling of our events, most FREE players can't handle the pro pressure that how people are doing so much more damage than them. Our events are handle efficiently to make sure that won't make our players too powerful, but the free players aren't powerful, they don't know how to get meso to buy all the pro equipments in the market, NO, actually they do know how to get meso but they don't want to play the game by 'cheating' to buy meso from those sellers. BUT due to some reason or another, they stayed in mapleSEA, but unable to go proer with what they have now without those pro equipments, they have no choice but to go and 'cheat'.

Why don't they buy cash like miracle cube instead of meso?
I know many maplers here are #badluckmaplers and would have resulted a negative productivity when they could just use hard cold solid meso to get exactly what they want instead of trying their luck to produce one themselves.

The problems are actually inter-link. Breaking this cycle is easy. There is more than 1 way to do it. Tackle one problem, if it is too tough? Try tackling another problem and most likely everything will start to solve itself when one problem is solved.

To sum up what I just said, MapleSEA has ABOVE BIG ULTRA SUPREME EXCEEDING EXTREME LARGE OVERSIZE MAJOR EXTENSIVE LARGE-SCALE issues.

A little note: I am not complaining about the issues that is present in mapleSEA. Only trying to create a little awareness.

So, as stated in the title, in KMS, during cygnus return patch, PQs, training areas, Evo World, & Dimension Invade had a major nerf, which causes more than half of the KMS community to quit the game, only to return during RED update after they undo the nerf. From what i heard, for Dimension Invade, the daily entry was reduced to only 5, and all the monsters exp were cut to 1/2 of the current exp, and bloodfang exp (the big hyena with giant axe) in dimension invade only give 1/5 of the current exp.

So the big Q, will we get the nerf that will cause massive ragequit, or do nexon learned from their mistake in KMS and skip the nerf?

10b mesos cap 9,999,999,999.

So we all know that this wednesday, which is 7th August 2013, we will have the cygnus returns patch. I think it's a fairly exciting patch with the increase in max level cap for all classes and all the new maps that are coming.

But, my concern is about the increase in max mesos cap. 10b mesos cap 9,999,999,999.

Let me list out some benefits we can get from this,

1) We don't need to create more and more mule characters just for the sake of storing mesos.
2) Some items can now be purchased by mesos. For example, Lionheart Cutlas can be purchased for 5~6b.
3) Can prevent risky trades, ultimately can reduce scam rates. ^^
4) Mesos demand will increase, mesos value might also raise abit.

So, there are the benefits I can think of. But the raise in max mesos cap can also be an issue.

For starters, will the raise in mesos really rectify the issue of trading of items using RM/SGD/cash? I think that even if the mesos cap is raised, some people will still rather sell their items for 40k cash rather than 8~10b mesos (based on D/E/I cash rates). Furthermore, this will lead to some inflation.

Let's say that the market price for Dark Angelic Blessing Ring (DABR) is now 20k, if converted to mesos it will be 4b. Then some people will think that hey, I should sell it for higher price since if I'm selling it for mesos instead of cash, so I should earn more then resell these mesos to cash. Then they will sell it for 4.5b, then 5b and it will reach a price ceiling of 6b. This will only affect those expensive items though.

The main problem is not that though. The main problem that really concerns me is about the value of mesos. Will it increase, remain constant or decrease? With the increase in max mesos caps, this means that botters can now farm mesos more conveniently. Let's assume that a hacker account has 4 slots of characters. Normally they can only store 10b of mesos per day for one account (2b per char and 2b for storage). But after this max mesos cap is implemented, they can now store 50b of mesos, per account, in a day! Let's put ourselves in the hackers' shoes. If I have the ability of making 50b mesos per day, for one account, I will try to sell off these mesos as soon as possible, since I need to clear my mesos, so that I can bot and farm mesos again. The botters will then sell their mesos for $1/b.

But anyways, these are all just my predictions, it will be interesting to see how it will really affect the economy though. My assumptions is that the mesos demand will definitely increase for a short period of time, but then the value of mesos will drop gradually =/

Sick and tired of only being able to lug around 2,147,483,647 mesos since…forever?

Guess what?! The maximum mesos cap has now been raised to 9,999,999,999 mesos! This applies to the amount of mesos in your inventory, your storage as well as your stores!

250 is the new 200!

Push the limits of your character further with the new level cap of 250!

Note: Characters leveling past 200 will only receive 5 AP per level. No SP will be distributed.

New Messenger System

Introducing, the new memo system!

When someone sends a Memo to you (whether your’re offline or online), you will receive a notification pop-up..

You can choose to reply back and keep in contact with the other party. However, each memo sent will cost you 10,000 mesos.

Note: You are advised to practice caution when receiving suspicious memos (e.g asking for your information, offering free @cash/item). When in doubt, always seek clarification via the iBox/LiveChat.

Double your chatting fun with the new Chat Modes in the new Messenger window!

Each week, you can see the top male and female maplers who are active in collecting “likes” from the Maple Chat System.

Random Duo Chat: You will enter a chatroom which will link you randomly with another player that selects this option.

Random Group Chat: You will enter a chatroom which will link you with up to 5 other random strangers.

Friend Chat: You will enter the normal chatroom where you can chat with up 6 other people using the /invite command.

New Cash Shop UI

Main Features

Search Bar– If you know the name of the item, you can use this to minimize your search.

Categories– This is the Main & Sub Category tabs. This is where most players will begin to do their item searching.

Save– After picking a set of outfits that you like, you may select this option to save your custom set in the “My appearance” window.

Inventory– Toggles between Cash Shop inventory and other windows. (in this case, it will toggle between “My appearance” and the Cash Shop inventory)

Sort By– You can choose to arrange items between the following options:

Popularity: Items will sort from the most sought items to the least sought items.

Newest: Items will sort from the most recent item to the least recent item.

Highest Price: Items will be sort according to prices in descending order, highest at the top.

Lowest Price: Items will be sort according to prices in ascending order, lowest at the top.

Character Preview / My Appearance

The character preview now has a temporary save function!

Can’t decide on which shoes to go for with that overall? Not sure whether blue shorts or blue miniskirt would compliment your top? Use the Save function! It will temporarily save your current look and store it in the “My Appearance” window. After which you can proceed on to pick a different outfit to compare with the first outfit. You can store up to 6 saved outfits. To remove them, simply click on the delete button at the top right corner of the window. Its that simple!

Limited Time Offers

From time to time, MapleSEA will have limited time offers in the Cash Shop. These banners will usually be displayed on our main website. However, with the new UI, you can now see these banners in the Cash Shop as well! When you click on these banners, the items available will be conveniently linked to you right away!

Wish Lists

Wishlists are still present in the Cash Shop! There is a small checkbox at the top right of the item. Upon checking them it will be listed in your “Wish List”, which can be accessed at the top bar of the Cash Shop window.

Note: Remember to ensure that the checkboxes are selected before making your purchase from the Wish List.

It has come to our attention that many players have been misled by other players who impersonated as Game Masters, requesting for password and other sensitive information to be sent to them, to a 3rd party email address.

Game Master are differentiated by a pair of prominent “GM” wings, displayed on top of their GM character. Their IGNs do not contain any gibberish characters.
Please be informed that NO Game Master or Asiasoft staff will ever request from players for their passwords, or answer to their security question at all times.
We take GM Impersonation very seriously and with reference to our Rule of Conduct;

12. You may not impersonate any Asiasoft or Asiasoft’s related parties/partners/entities employee, past or present, including any Customer Support personnel. This also includes using names that misleads other users to believe that you are an employee of Asiasoft or any of it’s related parties/partners/entities.
If you are found and caught breaking the above mentioned pointer inside the Rules and Conduct, you will be stripped of your privileges and all supports or services to that particular account and Asiasoft passport will be discontinued. It has come to our attention that there are phishing websites and email recently trying to acquire players� login and password information.

What is phishing?
Phishing is a way of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames and passwords.

Fake Websites are often the common practice of a �phishing� scheme.
Fake Websites can be very convincing. They often use copies of official artwork and logos.

Here are some ways to detect whether you�ve been directed to a fake site.

� How did you get here? Did you follow an email or chat link to get to the site?
If you did, be caution.

� Check the URL: All official Asiasoft sites or related MapleSEA sites use the URL pattern �http://[gamename].asiasoftsea.net� or �MapleSEA.com�
If a site doesn�t end as stated above, it�s not an official Website.

� Check the email domain: All official Asiasoft emails use the email domain �@asiasoftsea.net�

� No matter what situation, Official Sites and email from Asiasoft will NEVER ASK for your PASSWORD of your passport or game accounts.

� Look for blind links and broken or dead end pages:
